Ecotherapy

I offer outdoor mental health therapy sessions in North Seattle parks. These can be done walking or seated. There are two main variants of ecotherapy I offer. The first is traditional talk therapy with nature as our setting, and the energy and connection to land passively supporting the therapy. The second has a stronger intention to more actively connect to land, where relationship with land becomes part of the therapy itself.

In ecotherapy sessions, we engage with nature to promote mental well-being and healing. These sessions use outdoor settings to help folks reconnect with the natural world, reduce stress, and gain new perspectives on personal challenges. Through activities such as mindful walking, nature observation, somatic awareness, and reflection exercises, we explore our emotional landscape in a calming, supportive environment. Ecotherapy can be particularly beneficial for those seeking to heal anxiety, depression, or trauma, and offers a holistic approach that nurtures both mind and body.
